It was pretty good for the most part. But there have been some issues with the vehicle that should’ve been addressed before putting the vehicle up for sale, like obvious paint chips, and a rear trunk light that is out that I need to have fixed. Just little things that should’ve been easy to fix so the vehicle was 100% ready to go. Otherwise, it’s been a positive experience. And everyone I call Sean McKay with a new issue that I’ve noticed about the vehicle since purchasing it, he has gotten fixed for me. But he shouldn’t have to do that, as these issues should have been fixed prior to sale.

I did not have a great experience with the McGee dealership. We were brought in on false premises, and I walked away with a car I did not originally go in for. I was specifically looking for the Trailblazer LT in cacti green, which I had located at another dealer. Kimberly from McGee said that this dealership could match the deal the other dealership was giving me, and locate a green one and have it on the lot the following day. I live over an hour away, and once I got to McGee the deal was not honored, and I didn't event end up with a green trailblazer. Our original salesperson Ivan talked down to us, and wouldn't show us the numbers or pencil sheet on the vehicle. My partner that was there with me has experience selling cars, so they knew what the pencil sheet should look like, which he refused to be transparent about. Then, when we did get the deal to the numbers we were originally promised, Ivan continued to be unhelpful. I wanted to transfer my old plates onto this vehicle and left them with Ivan to put on the next day. He failed to do this and the dealership issued me new plates anyway. Ivan did not come in the following day because he told us he was too busy getting his haircut. The dealership (not Ivan) told me the car had been ready since 1pm on Wednesday April 9. When we got there at 7:30pm that night, my car was not even inspected. Ivan was severely disrespectful and unhelpful in this process. The managers we spoke to Wednesday night were understanding and listened to our story the whole time. We ended up talking to them for around 1.5 hour. They expressed their frustration and gave us the space to talk about our experience, which I appreciated. Ivan did not come into the dealership for delivery of my car, and was trying to have his friend do it. However, even that friend was not at the dealership Wednesday night. The salesperson that was there, Aaron, was immensely helpful. So much so, that I told the dealership to give me deal to Aaron instead of Ivan. Aaron stayed and listened to our frustrations, and empathized with us. He stayed late to show me how to set the new car up, including the chevrolet app and onstar welcome call. Ivan did not mention or show me any of this the night before when I agreed to the deal. The only reason I am giving this dealership more than one star is because of Aaron, and the two managers that listened to my partner and I on Wednesday night. I will not recommend people to go here unless they go to see Aaron.

My experience started off as expected, with a vehicle inspection and a test drive. However, the process quickly became disappointing once it came time to make a purchasing decision. The salesperson, Shawn, was extremely pushy and showed little interest in ensuring that my specific needs were addressed. He was frequently distracted and often walked away during our conversations, making it difficult to feel confident in the transaction. I made it clear that certain conditions needed to be met in order for me to move forward with the purchase. Shawn assured me that these would be taken care of. However, when I arrived a few days later at our scheduled time to pick up the vehicle, it was not ready and hadn’t even been washed. More frustratingly, the promised commitments were not fulfilled, and the disorganization continued. It took nearly three hours to complete the process and leave the dealership. I scheduled a return visit to complete the inspection, registration, and to address the original unresolved promises. Despite being told everything was “all set,” only the inspection had been completed. The staff I interacted with during this visit were rude, dismissive, and offered little more than excuses. At this point, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from this dealership. It’s clear that their focus is on the sale, not the customer experience or satisfaction. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience

The defrost of the center pane of the sliding window in my Silverado stopped working. After numerous attempts to have this problem fixed no one seemed to have a solution. My salesman originally gave me a price of $32,000 and valued my trade in at $4,000. When signing the paperwork I questioned the price and the finance officer brushed me off and didn’t want to explain anything in detail. No final numbers were ever discussed, it was just sign here. This really bothered me so after reviewing the paperwork at home I realized I was charged $35,549 for the car with a trade in of $5,000, neither of which matched what was verbally discussed. I’m not sure why or how either of those numbers were applied. I fully understand it’s my own fault for signing and not asking more questions, but feel I was taken advantage of at a cost to me of $2,500, and will not be purchasing any other vehicles from this dealership or bringing my car there for future service. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone, advising all family and friends to purchase somewhere else.

I couldn't have had a better car buying experience as I did at Mckay. I walked in on a Friday will full transparency that I was unlikely to complete a purchase that afternoon. I thought I was bringing it in for a simple sensor or two. It was a leaking radiator too so I was sent home in a loaner Monday, with promise it will be ready Tuesday. I callback Tuesday and get no callback so I stop in Tuesday PM. Oh it’s not done. We are waiting on a $10 gasket. Wednesday lunchtime now. Ok I can kind of deal with it. Not thrilled but OK. What ultimately peeved me was the “intake” people. The woman, (I am sorry I have forgotten names) was fine. I have NP with. The gentleman with white hair is another story. He first took me in. I tried to tell him what was going on, and was told. “I don’t care! The engine light is on right?” Wow ok. Same guy then had an angry hissy fit on someone else using the printer. Very angrily. “I fluffing* told you before stop using that printer. Go use your own fluffing* printer!” Yup he is a nice guy. Wednesday afternoon I call stuck in crazy traffic. He tells me. “It’s done. I just need to do the paperwork.” Great TY. GPS says I should be there in about an hour. The accident clears and I arrive 40 min later. He looks up at me and Barks. “You just told me 5 minutes ago you would be here in an hour!” My knee jerk is to tear into him, but he has my car, but I know my voice had an edge to it. “No I called you 40 minutes ago stuck in traffic. Traffic cleared and I got her early.” “I need to get the paperwork done.” Still with tons of attitude. “Fine I will wait.” And I turn and head for the chairs begins I say something I will regret, and delay me getting my car. I went to McKay hoping for a medium/large size SUV (traverse) with a sunroof, and lots of cargo space. I was strongly encouraged to try the Equinox EV, after test driving a Traverse I really liked but was out of my price range due to it being a limited edition. We were pushed into trying the EV to see the difference. I wish I fought more for what I ideally wanted. We were told about all the perks of having an electric vehicle without applying it to my own life and lifestyle. McKay was our 5th stop off route 44 so I think between that, not eating for a few hours, needing a car due to having a rental for 2 1/2 weeks after my car (I loved) got totaled. I wish Reggie, took into account my love for my previous vehicle (GMC Acadia) and applied that. Because now I am stuck with a brand new vehicle that I was not ready for, having an EV is a complete lifestyle change. I don’t have access to charge it at home or work and the nearby stations are either 6.5 KW or have had some issues. It has been a nightmare charging and I so wish I could have gone back to have a gas powered vehicle. Not to mention the reflection from the dashboard on the windshield I had to specially order a mat to help with that. I just feel defeated and wish this vehicle fit me but it doesn’t. If I could exchange it for something else I would in a heartbeat. I didn’t have any time to research EVs and really wish there was more transparency about what life would look like with one.

The woman in service was fine. It was bizarre that you only had one service person on, and the reasoning was that "my boss" is on vacation or out. Then you should have more people on to cover. This led me to think that the dealership is hurting and cannot afford to hire more folks. She was doing pricing, cashier, taking calls and handling the people coming in for service. I am sharing to help you see that perception can be everything and to improve. I miss Rick. He was fantastic.

I'm normally a pretty easygoing person, but this experience was absolutely wild, and not in a good way. 1. I know that a $400 diagnostic fee is pretty standard among car dealerships, but I was surprised to learn that this fee is not taken out of the total cost of the repair after all is said and done, which is what lots of other dealerships do. That means that people are being charged $400 just to figure out what is wrong with their car. Thankfully, Elizabeth was kind and gave me 50% off on the diag fee. I will admit, I'm still not happy about the extra $200, but she did what she could and I appreciate it. 2. Elizabeth was the only person working in the service department that day. Not even the manager was there. She was SWAMPED. Because of this, I didn't hear any information on my car at all, all day. I dropped my car off at 9:00am (this was an appointment I had made the week before, so plenty of time for you guys to plan ahead). I tried calling twice. The first time, I was told she would get back to me soon (she didn't). The second time, I waited on hold for 30 minutes and then gave up. I ended up ordering a Lyft around 4:00pm and going to the dealership myself. I was able to get an unfinished pseudo-estimate from Elizabeth. I paid the 50% diag fee and took my car, because I had an appointment at 6:00pm. This means that I waited for 7+ hours without access to a car to essentially get no information. Elizabeth explained to me multiple times that in order to complete a diagnosis and estimate, she needs a decent chunk of time with no interruptions, which she didn't get that day. Based on the 20+ repair orders I saw on her desk and the constant phone calls she received that interrupted our 10 minute conversation, I believe her. Please give her a raise or something, you put her through hell. 3. The service department had no available courtesy vehicles. With service being so slow, I imagine that left a lot of people (myself included) high and dry without any transportation. 4. Someone from the service department (I can't remember their name, but it wasn't Elizabeth - hopefully she was on vacation somewhere) called me with a diagnosis and estimate on Wednesday, which means that if I had not taken my car elsewhere for service, I would have waited 5 business days to find out that my turbo was failing. That's bad customer service, and also potentially really dangerous!

As a first-time Chevy customer, I would rate my experience as a 1 out of 10. My purchase was a lease buyout, and the service I received was drastically different from the level of service I’m accustomed to. I strongly believe that because the dealership did not earn a commission from this sale, the level of service was virtually nonexistent. I purchased the vehicle on 7/30 but did not take delivery until 8/12. There was zero proactive communication throughout this process—I had to follow up repeatedly just to get updates. I truly believe that if I hadn’t been persistent, the process could have taken even longer. When I finally picked up the vehicle, the gas tank was completely empty. While the inside and outside of the truck had been detailed, the bed was left dirty. Overall, this experience was disappointing and far from the level of customer service I expected.

I went in for a fifty thousand mile oil change, , a transmission flush and to have my tires rotated as is every oil change. When I drove home the car shook as though tires were not balanced. Come to find out, my car was up on a lift and a cursory inspection my left rear tire and right front tire were cupped, the left rear more so tan the right front. I would expect from a reputable dealership that I could bring my car in for service and leave without worring about tires Another trip to the garage to fix the problem and another day wasted!

My vehicle was bought in to repair my passenger rear tire apparently it had a nail in it . They plugged the tire I wasn’t happy because I was expecting a new tire the customer service man helping said that under my warranty it’s only if the tire is unrepairable then it can be replaced with a new tire .Still having issues with the radio after bringing it back for service three times my son said the issue is the amplifier that’s making that static noise and should be replaced. So the tire was repaired. And the stereo still make crackling noise and just goes off for two or three minutes than the radio comes back on . Telephone calls there’s a lot of static!!

We brought the car in for a code issue, which we had at another mechanic shop (that couldn’t figure it out)… they did the diagnostic and came back with a “connection issue”,. We were told it was fixed and tested. Within minutes of leaving the dealership, the lissue came back.. We paid $189 for this. We called in the morning, had the car brought back in two days later. We received a call that morning to say it’s now an axle harness issue, along with battery corrosion and fuse box replacement. Seems to me that this should’ve been resolved at the first visit. We now find out that the axle harness part isn’t available until Dec-Jan, but temporary repair is $370, plus battery and fuse of another $750. It’s not satisfactory that parts aren’t available and paying $370. We will not be purchasing another Chevy in the future. This vehicle only has 82k miles on it and the messages started at 69k miles.

Brought my truck in for 2 issues. One being a knocking noise and the other was an electrical problem. When I went to pick it up I was told there was nothing wrong the knocking noise they couldn’t find the problem. And the electrical issue they tested it and everything looked ok. But when I got home I still had the issue and the power wasn’t working to my upfitter switches. I was told to bring it to the dealership I got it from. I am disappointed because I brought it in and neither thing was addressed and I was told if I wanted that I could pay to have them wire it up for me. Then charged me 300 dollars for what they did which was nothing. I am bringing it to the dealership who I got the truck from and hopefully they will fix it.
